Car doesn't seem to downshift at all and is really smooth. Problem is, there are no other cars that I like enough to buy (that I can afford). G37 = another Nissan with another oil burning problem. Plus, it will take at least another five years to decide I like the looks of a G37 (so far I don't). IS - too small inside; I'm 6'4. Acura TL - definitely too ugly. BMW - way overpriced.
