this link will show you where the bolts are at so you can remove the seat. you will start at the back of the rear seat. after you remove the bolts from the rail ( # 130) you can side the seat up and back it will "pop" off. then your bolts from the rear of the rider seat left and back. now both seat are off. Shifting reccomendations for the 1700 Voyager. I have seen and read several threads in here on when to shift gears on our 1700's. It seems to always be about the RPM's. I have stated in the past I am usually in 6th gear before 50 MPH and stay there most of the time. Here is the shift schedule from the owners manual.
