Allocation/Purchasing a Cayman GT4 RS in Canada. I want to purchase the GT4 RS and I'm located in British Columbia. I've spoken with sales managers from two different locations in Vancouver and both have told me they have already allocated these to existing Porsche owners who will be selling back their existing cars to the dealership.
We went to our local dealership and they have a wonderful red gt4 available. He's interested in the gt3 but an allocation would take something like a minimum of 6 months according to what the salesperson said. Couldn’t agree more. We get some benefits but this current ADM and allocation game is horrible. I remember a video with AP where he was bloviating about “making one for every customer who wants one”, in reference to the 991.2 GT3, then the same BS about the 992 version, and in a video about the GT4RS, the same BS.

The last chance anyone had, was a month or two ago, when Porsche had a promotional event going on with dealers, where if the dealer sold enough cars, they could get an extra GT4 allocation. That being said, I'm extremely confident those are gone, as the average dealer had a wait list of atleast 5 people (So avg 1-3 allocations at start, then 1 ... If it's a complete weekend toy, the GT4 is fun except for the looooong gearing which was really annoying in the manual. If you get the pdk which was just announced, I suspect it will no longer be an issue. Both are great cars, hard decision. And, I was offered another GT4 allocation and passed. So June is probably effectively the very last time you can spec a GT4, once the last specs are in Porsche will look at inventory of the various parts along with remaining 981 orders and determine whether or not any more GT4 allocations can be created, if so, then more GT4 allocations may be created and given out, but would that be 1 car or 100 ...

Extra downforce isn't likely to slow you down all that much before 60 as well.
Hearing that the GT4 is discontinued for MY2024 confirms how lucky I was to draw an allocation last fall. The car has finally arrived from Emden (4 months late). Hoping the PPF will be completed this week and I can pick up the car on Friday. With the "appreciation", I may just have to order a JCR race exhaust to complete the package!
