While Tradovate platform has some good features it ends up being an unnecessary expense. Just sim costs you $12.99 a month plus $4 for data. Once you start live you have the skimmed down version of the platform for free but still pay $4 for data and your commissions are $5.58RT for eMini.
Ninja is a decent platform. It costs more and I just don’t think it’s as customizable. Interactive Brokers is just not good for futures. Platform sucks, data is crap. I’ve heard Tradeovate is good. But you still need a charting platform (I believe). AMP is probably the cheapest as far as commissions go.

But I also have a hundred bucks in a TDA account so I can use ToS for charting, plus I can use their free version of Bookmap for a better DOM for ES and MES.
