Melvor gear progression.
A lot of the dungeons can't be idled with gear you would have when reaching them. This is so well put - after the progression of the God Dungeons in the base game it is a big switch to what the player is used to doing for progression. That change in progression threw me off for sure, and is definitely interesting as a design direction.
Your gear progression at this point should be (in no order): Sandstorm ring (will suck up food, but absolutely worth it - huge dps increase vs tough enemies) Fire cape (manual). Put on protect item + relevant protection prayer to be safe/ Paladin gloves (+4% dr, very useful until you get god gear) Once you have those, your aim should be:Introduction. The drop rate for combat presents are too low at 1 in 2000 per kill for a limited time event. If you want a reasonable chance to get the present, you have to fight weak enemies while getting your respawn/attack times low.
