This let's me fashionably switch between the two, and the twinblades can also be used as a parrying tool when I'm one-handing the Astora's. What I just want is help with the timing. From my guesses, you need to parry about .7 seconds before the attack registers with your character. But, it's not working out all that well.Maybe you shouldn't be using them. The twinswords are definitely harder to use than most. Dark Souls is designed around blocking, and playing a character that doesn't block requires a lot of learned skill in how the enemies work. Find a fun sword, grab a 100% physical shield and you'll enjoy the game more. sellsword twinblades are powerful, but they aren't overpowered imo. their damage is fantastic, and paired with stuff like the pontiff rings, OWCS, and carthus beacon you can quickly get that damage even higher, esp in PVE. their only issue off the top of my head is they've not got the best range (iirc) and it sorta locks you out of parrying and ...
