I got Slither working again this way. chrome menu -> more tools -> extensions -> enable developer mode toggle switch -> load unpacked button -> select ntlmod folder (where you unzipped the file).
Slither.io can be a little slow, but if there's a delay between moving the mouse and seeing the snake respond it's lag.
