Feb 17, 2021 · To reset the drivers power window, its something like (from vague memory): Turn ignition on (engine off), hold window switch in the ‘down’ position, continuously till the window is all the way down. Then release. And I think then its done. If not, its vice versa. No idea about the passenger window not working.
Step one check the lock out switch. Step two check the fuses. By the driver left knee and Under the hood. Also sometimes those are self resetting circuit breakers. Turn the car on a try the window now. Also check to see if the other windows work. After you need to reset the system, roll the window all the way up and hold the switch in the up position for several seconds. The same system applies to the sunroof. Steve. Simple fix - look at page 2-38 of the owners manual: Initialization of power window. Instructions are for the drivers side but just do the same thing for the passenger window using the switch located ON THE PASSENGER DOOR.So power would have to be supplied to pins 10 and 7. Positive on 10, negative on 7. The troubleshooting section of the service manual will have those numbers backwards - the convention for male pin connectors is pin #1 is at the top right, so top right to top left, then bottom right to bottom left.
