Might even take longer depending on your setup. It is definitely the slowest part of my server boot.I like multi-hit because it encourages you to try standing your ground more and not always relying on kiting every zombie you see allowing a different experience. Not all weapons are created equal with multi-hit either. Ex. a Bat can hit 3 (maybe 4 i cant remember) but a knife is still a single zombie. I am on Windows 10, and i n any game mode I am unable to push more than one zombie at a time, Survivor mode or Sandbox with multi-hit selected. I have deleted all mods, unsubbed from all mods, verified game files, deleted all folders, and did 2 fresh installs. The general consensus of this subreddit tends to be "play how you want to play." That being said, the people against it would just say it is unrealistic and/or it makes the game too easy. You can't really swing and hit multiple targets with force in real life with most weapons.

Multi-hit should be situational/weapon dependant. Stat dependant on too of weapon dependant makes more sense and provides more incentive besides “I can use this weapon on one enemy better”. Also, even a few zombies mean quite the threat for a long while untill you level up a weapon skill.
