Hydro-Gear ZT-3400 Failure. 2014 Gravely 152. A little over 500 hours. Started doing my first property of the day last week and when I started down a slight incline, the transmission started shuttering and would not stop on the left side. Seemed to go forward fine but had no stopping power.

1. Aug 12, 2020 / Hydro Drive slipping. #1. Hello all, first post here on the forums. I have a Toro Timecutter HD MyRide 54" (75212), around 3 years old, 70-90 hours. This uses the Hydro-Gear ZT-3100 hydro pump/drive. The drives seem to be slipping whenever I move forward or turn. They will slip momentarily, and then catch up and turn the wheels.
