One ride told me I didn't want one due to the suspension. It's probably the spring loaded gear selector fork under the shifter assy behind the rear head. it's VERY easy for one side of that spring mechanism to fall off when assembling. this way you don't get a full throw when putting it in gear with the hand shifter. If the primary were to go on to far, the cooling fins on the back of the clutch could hit the metal plate behind it. An 1/8th inch out is pretty far. After the bleeding, I can go from 5 to 20 miles w/o a problem. The first sign of trouble is a hard shimmy in the front end and then it locks up.

If you look at the module with the terminals pointing down, the two on the left go to the pickup coil (black and blue on my '86).
