When I go to engage the PTO, the PTO clutch sleeve moves about half way back (not all the way) before meeting resistance. I observed this by looking at the slit in the top of the PTO shaft bearing support assembly. It "feels" like the PTO clutch sleeve is riding against the transmission shaft, but has not fully engaged over this shaft.Take a look and see if you can spot it. Remove the cotter pin and clevis pin. Loosen the locknut on the clevis. Make a one turn adjustment to shorten the clutch linkage, and check to see if the PTO clutch is working. So I pulled out the rear bearing seal at the back of the tractor, above the PTO output shaft and gently wiggled the top shaft out. It was extremely painless. The lower PTO output shaft was equally painless. I can get to and removed 4 bearings. They are 2 each NSK 6207 and KOYO 6306.
