When it comes to DDLC, the one thing the Metaverse lore undermines is the original conceit of the game; that it was a dating sim where one character 'woke up' and ruined everything. It's been given new context which makes the experience less personal, but I don't think it ruins any of the really important parts of the whole thing.

I'm not 100% sure on it, but it's possible- and like Matthew said, Yuri is the only one out of the girls in DDLC that's the same age as XXXXXX and Libitina. However, this isn't incredibly likely as XXXXXX died- 5th January 2004. Theory 2 is that Yuri is LIBITINA. It's, again, not incredibly likely, but perhaps more so than the first theory.

Admittedly, while I do find the hidden lore of DDLC interesting, and could be used to create some great stories, I honestly don't give a crap about it. I grew to love DDLC because of the characters and story in the actual game.
