You can make a viable Strike-based build, and even have fun with it, but the limited selection of moves (especially Ultimates) means that it's usually best to start one after you've already beaten the story mode and unlocked a lot of stuff.Saiyans are definitely the go-to for beginners because they required the least skill in XV1, and they have even more transformations in XV2.
