The other day it stopped blowing cold air (still cool just not cold) then hissing sound from the dash started happening shortly later. I turned off the A/C and scheduled an appointment at the dealership. Apr 15, 2013 · Follow the instructions below to check for missing seam sealer in the cowl area. Remove the Air Inlet Grille Panel (see picture above). Follow SI instructions for Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement. On the passenger side of the vehicle put a hose on the seams shown in the above pictures.

This worked and cold air successfully blew out on the drivers side, however, it caused the right side to now blow hot air. I figured this would be calibration, so I popped the HVAC b fuse for 2 mins. Same issue here. Purchased used 2011 Acadia Denali 6 months ago. This past week, the hissing sound, hot air, the AC light blinks 3 times, then off. Took to Valvoline for a quick pressure test to see if anything was leaking. Nothing found. Freon added, recharged and cold air once again ($127 w/1yr free freon charges, as needed).
