I found the sticky on here and have done everything listed. Every time I turn the key on, the 20 amp fuse for the fuel shut off solenoid blows immediately. It's coming from around the pto area in the rear. Does not do it with nothing hooked up.

But not surprised at all, yes John Deere has a big problem with the 550 S4 and it sickens me that they will not back their product. With that being said, you probably either have a clutch or a transmission problem!!!

The tractor will be used mainly with a snow plow on the loader arms. The 5420 had the 521 and 541 loader. The ad says 521 with quick attach bucket but the pics clearly showed the 541.Member.
