Nov 14, 2023 · Like many folks, I’ve been having dead battery issues because of the DCM parasitic draw. I pulled the fuse and was going to live with it, but wanted to have the ECM update for alternator output done. Dealership looked at it. and diagnosed the DCM as the cause for the draw and the service advisor said that Subaru is going to replace it for free. First remove the fuse for the rear washer and install that fuse, plus another 15A fuse in that adapter. Then, splice the red wire from the first adapter directly to the second one.
