Wd45 ammeter. My Wd45 currently has a 60 0 60 ammeter on it. It has been converted to 12V alternator. Should it have a 30 amp original Guage or volt. This ammeter don't register charge or discharge but it is charging. With an alternator you'd want a -60 0 +60 ammeter.Any oil with a SN or later API service rating will be a low zinc oil which you need to avoid. These old flat tappet engines don't tolerate these new automotive oils for very long and will round off cam lobes eventually. That's a nice straight lookin D14 ya got there.
