Cape coral burrowing owl festival 2023.

For the past 4 years Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife has been doing a city-wide count of the owl population. This year the count was UP by 500 owls so by the count figures we have between three and four thousand owls living in Cape Coral. So i guess the owls faired much better in Hurricane Ian than the humans did. The City of Cape Coral Parks and Recreation teams up with Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife (CCFW) to host the 22nd Annual Burrowing Owl Festival Saturday, February 24.
