The one that u have. There are better but i would say the Halberd is one of 1/3 of the most usefull weapons in DS2. It has a great damage (350 at +10 / B scaling in strength with +10) and a super moveset. The Zweihander and it's angrier brother the Drakekeeper UGS are some of the finest big weapons in the game. Both have the same awesome wide-sweep moveset. Ivory King Ultragreatsword is great for pve. Downside is that its durability wears off as if your hitting with a cheesecake so you'll need a bracing knuckle ring.

Overall good weapon for pvp or pve, though slower weapons are always more susceptible to getting parried. In ds2 two handing will effectively double your str for the purpose of meeting requirements as opposed to 1.5x increase in ds1 or ds3, but this increase is NOT considered for scaling. Therefore only 14 str is required to 2h this weapon. The best weapon is the one you enjoy using. The mace is not a bad strength weapon. Can't go wrong with a Longsword. It's one of the most versatile weapons for both pve and pvp (top tier in pvp), and after beating the game with nothing but the LS, imo if I had to pick just one weapon, it would be the Longsword, no contest.
