As of 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, a winter storm watch had been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) for the southwest San Juan Mountains, including Pagosa Springs. The storm watch began Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 11 p.m. and will last until Jan. 1, 2022, at 5 a.m.The best chance for snow is Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
