Pop up trick nclex.
I took the NCLEX on a Tuesday in CA. My tested ended at 75. I than realized I either did really good or really and and started to panic. I than started googling how common it is to fail with 75. Then I stumbled upon the PVT and decided to try it. Needless to say I got the BAD pop up. I tried it at least 20x within 36 hours.

It’ll send an automatic charge that will generate the tried and true good pop “Our records indicate…” and you’ll automatically be refunded within the hour. Those that failed, it’ll automatically populate the charge and receipt. Scores on practice exams: 50s-60s, occasionally 70s. 1st assessment: 77th percentile "very high chance of passing". 2nd assessment: 68th percentile "very high chance of passing". On my quizzes, I got from 50-70%, with an average in the low to mid 60%. I had just taken my second attempt on May 2nd. I waited about 4 hours and tried the trick and received the "bad pop-up". I was feeling so defeated. I couldn't imagine having to wait another 45 days to take it again. Tried it a few hours later, still got the "bad pop-up".
Took NCLEX 5 times, 4 for RN and 1 for LPN. Experienced the bad pop ups and good pop up. First 3 RN exam showed bad pop up and a good pop up on my LPN exam. Feb 1, 2015. If you want accurate results, best thing to do is wait 24hours before trying out the PVT. You could also do it right after the exam to get a feel for it, but you have to understand that the exam is scored TWICE, once after the exam and the 2nd scoring within 24hrs and the 2nd scoring is the one that counts, or so i heard. However, for both the EMT and paramedic exams which are both administered by Pearson VUE, I shut off right at 75 questions feeling like I failed, both of them I passed first go. if you were getting questions that were super difficult, you were doing well. I wouldn't stress about it.
