They don't re-appear unless I minimize and maximize the window (most of the time). February 18, 2014, 08:21 AM. Each building related files are linked into each other using Origin to Origin (Arch, Str, MEP, etc) Shared coordinates are use to georeference your building. You use the arch file to acquire the coords from the site file then you propagate to all the others. Very simple process actually.

Go into the dimension edit mode and turn the text background to transparent. Please note that if you do this it will modify all of this type of dimension. Swapnil. Families do not have line styles they use line patterns and subcategories (object styles). Remove the unwanted subcategories / line patterns before loading into the project. If you've already loaded the family you can still remove them through object styles/ line patterns dialogue, however this will act project wide.Idealy IMO Struct would own the structural portion of the wall and Arch would own the finishes. Structural will use Floors for everything (floors can have cut profiles), Arch Roof sits on top of the Struct Floor. Same for floors. Struct own the floor and Arch puts another on top for finishes.

probably a difference in units rounding from a dimension type to the Project Units setting. If you are dimensioning with rounding set to nearest 1' for instance you will always get 6'-0" x 7'-0" doors even though they might be 5'-11 13/16" x 7'-1 1/2" in reality.
