We just came back from a 7 day stay in the Lagoon Tower- Makai. Our view was so beautiful. We had a king bed room with on the oceanside. We had a rollaway bed as well on the 5th floor closest to the lagoon side but had full view of the lagoon, ocean and dolphin quest.

My husband and I bought day passes to enjoy the Hilton Waikoloa property. I would definitely recommend for the day. We arrived about 9:30 a.m. to check in. It was fairly straight forward. The property is very large so we parked and walked to the lobby. We didn't mind the walk at all.

The Westin Hapuna recently underwent a major renovation (when Westin bought it, not sure when that happened). We stayed at the Westin Hapuna in Sep 2018 on SPG points, and it was simply fantastic.
