278 posts · Joined 2020. #7 · Mar 8, 2021. My 2016 makes me nervous because I have had a few brief occasions of Traction control messages and a bit of a rough idle when first starting. Neither my 200,000 mile Astro (which I owned for 18 years) or our Soul responses like that.
I have a 2011 Chevy Travers which had the same issue while my wife and kids were traveling down the Interstate during rush hour. My 2011 Chevy Traverse, which has had many electrical issues, now has the Traction COntrol Light coming on, followed by a Service Stabilitrak message, followed my engine power reduction. I called the dealership and was told this is a known problem on the car for which a recall was issued on the 2010 model.
My 2015 with 100445 miles was having the exact issue, then traction control off flashed with service traction control and service stabilitrak and check engine light then motor turns off. Had it towed to dealer and now they say I need a new motor! Curious to see if anyone has experienced similar problem.

Unless you have that needed scan tool a mechanic visit would be needed here. If the stability control is not working correctly you could lose traction and not have the ABS brakes work correctly.
