I've observed that, when connections fail from the problematic linux service, TLSv1.2 is ALWAYS the level which was selected. However, connections do not ALWAYS fail when TLSv1.2 is used. They only fail 5-10% of the time. Now here is an exchange from a server that does NOT have the problem. Everything else is equal.

The best way to fix this is to verify the game files. To do this; Head to Steam and open Library. Next, right-click on the game and select Properties. Here, head over to the Installed Files tab. Now, click on the Verify Integrity of the Game Files button. Wait for the verification and restart your system.0. For us, this problem seems to happen because Apache doesn't properly realize that persisted MySQL connections have timed out from long waits. It should simply open a new connection but I guess it doesn't. A better fix than simply disabling DBDPersist seems to be to reduce the DBDExptime to a value lower than MySQL's wait timeout.
