There are several camp grounds and I am reading that some areas have no access, it is private property. As I said, the area has to be shallow enough to wade but still have room to cast, and an area with some trout.
One was a 16' which would handle a 3 hp outboard on an adaptor that clamped onto the gunwhales, the other was the 12' Gruman aluminum alloy and touted as the lightest canoe ever made. The total weight was either 22 or 23 pounds. Mostly I organize them first by fly type (dry, streamer, EN, wets, nymphs/emergers) then within that I group them by insect (or fly).

CTS out of New Zealand builds some very nice fast glass blanks, and there are plenty of builders around to build one if you don't want to do it yourself. Of course, the Epics and Orvis Superfine Glass are great also. For somebody looking for a faster glass rod, there are many fine examples available today.

I have no idea if they're any good, never heard of them until now, but I have enough of a problem with tangling weighted nymph rigs that I am curious. They are $25 for a pack of 10, not $25 each. That's not much more than the price of flies, so maybe they're worth a try. One thing to realize about ultralight fly rods and their lines is that the stepdown increment gets smaller as the line weights get lighter. So the effective difference down to a 0-weight isn't much from a 1-weight. But the reality, as Mojo mentioned, is that one rarely needs to make that cast over 40'. In river fishing, the main advantage of the 10' rod is line control.
