Having focused solely on stocks since 2001, I decided to start looking into futures in early 2017 and opted for Amibroker as my trading platform. But TradeStation margins and commissions are higher. And it isn't uncommon for them to remove or increase their day trading margin in periods of volatility, which is the case now.
