This was my first trip to Las Vegas. I am not a gambler at all and was a little leery of the 24-hour glitzy ostentatious casino culture. The Vdara hotel was the perfect place for us to stay. Close to the Strip, so easy to access the other hotels where we saw shows, but a calm, classy retreat to return to away from the noise.

The Vdara is connected to the Bellagio, so that is about 3 min. You walk outside the Vdara and walk around a half circle and into the Aria. That's about 2 minutes. The Cosmopolitan is below the Vdara. This is a great prop. don't give it a second thought. Reviewed February 6, 2018. We chose Vdara because it is a smoke free hotel, which is hard to find in Vegas. However, just because there isn’t a casino inside, does not mean that the people who stay there don’t smoke. One of the nights our bathroom reeked of pot and the hotel staff couldn’t do anything to help us, we just had to deal with it.

Park MGM has plenty of dining and isn’t much further to get to Aria for those dining options, or NYNY for different options. The room at Vdara will be better but the convenience (to gaming, strip, food options) would make me choose Park MGM.Save. 1. If you staying in Tower 3 at the Signature, Elara and the Signature would be comparable walking times to the Strip (around 10 minutes). Vdara is about a 10 minute walk to the Strip as well. The Signature has access to Harmon Ave, therefore you do not have to walk through the MGM to get to the Strip. 2.The building spacings and layouts are carefully planned so even on the desert/Aria side the views are quite pleasant, you will never be looking at a wall or someone’s air conditioning unit.
